HARRISON COUNTY CRASH LEAVES PATTONSBURG TEEN WITH INJURIES

A PATTONSBURG TEEN WAS LEFT WITH MINOR INJURIES IN A ONE CAR ROLL-OVER ACCIDENT IN HARRISON COUNTY THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

TROOP H OF THE MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL SAYS 17-YEAR-OLD PATTONSBURG RESIDENT JUAN C. HUGHES WAS DRIVING A 2009 PONTIAC G6 SOUTHBOUND ON ROUTE W ABOUT FOUR MILES NORTHWEST OF BETHANY AT 4 P.M. THURSDAY WHEN THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO SLIDE.

THE PONTIAC CROSSED THE CENTER OF THE ROADWAY AND TRAVELED OFF THE WEST SIDE OF THE PAVEMENT WHERE IT OVERTURNED SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE COMING TO REST ON ITS TOP FACING NORTHEAST.

HUGHES WAS WEARING A SEAT BELT BUT SUFFERED MINOR INJURIES. HE WAS TAKEN BY N-T-A AMBULANCE TO HARRISON COUNTY COMMUNITY HOSPITAL FOR TREATMENT.
