CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER CAKE IN A SLOW COOKER

2 CUPS DRY MILK CHOCOLATE CAKE MIX

1/2 CUP WATER

6 TBP PEANUT BUTTER

2 EGGS

1/2 CUP CHOPPED NUTS

SPRAY AND FLOUR A BAKING PAN THAT CAN FIT INSIDE THE CROCKPOT

POUR THE BATTER IN THE PAN AND PLACE IN COOKER

COVER WITH 8 PAPER TOWELS

PLACE LID ON TOP

COOK ON LOW FOR 2 1/2 HOURS

INVERT ON A SERVING PLATE

CHOCOLATE CHIPS WHOLE GRAIN NUGGETS

(1lb) brown sugar

3 sticks butter or margarine

4 eggs

2 tsp. vanilla

2 c. whole wheat flour

½ c. wheat germ

2 T. baking powder

1 tsp. soda

1 tsp. salt

5 c. quick oats, uncooked

12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips

Cream together brown sugar, softened margarine and eggs. Add vanilla, flour, wheat germ, baking powder, soda and salt. Stir in oats and chocolate chips last. Dip cookie dough with ice cream scoop and bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Recipe makes about 2 dozen giant chocolate chip nuggets

SLOW COOKER LASAGNE

1 pound ground round or chuck

1 package lasagna noodles

1 teaspoon garlic powder

12 ounces ricotta or cottage cheese

12 ounces tomato paste

12 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese

8 ounces smoked sausage, diced

1/2 cup chopped onion

3/4 cup water

1 tablespoon parsley

2 teaspoons sugar

Break noodles into one inch pieces and cook in boiling salted water until slightly tender. Drain. Brown ground beef, onion, and sausage in a frying pan. Grease slow cooker or spray with non-stick cooking spray.

Pour all ingredients into the slow cooker and mix thoroughly cook on low for 6-8 hours
