BREAKFAST ROLLUPS

4 (6-inch) flour tortillas

8 tablespoons whipped cream cheese

4 leaves green leaf lettuce

4 (1-ounce) slices deli ham

Place tortillas on individual pieces of wax paper. Spread 2 tablespoons cream cheese over each tortilla.

Top each with 1 lettuce leaf and a slice of ham then roll-up jelly roll-style. Roll in wax paper and keep chilled.

When ready to serve, slice and remove wax paper.

HOLIDAY SAUSAGE ROLLUPS

1 (16-ounce) package spicy pork sausage

1/2 red bell pepper, diced

4 green onions thinly sliced

2 (8-ounce) packages refrigerated crescent rolls (8 rolls each)

Preheat oven to 400

In a bowl, combine sausage, red pepper, and scallions; mix well. Unroll one package of crescent rolls and press seams together to form one large rectangle. Repeat with second package of crescent rolls.

Spread half of sausage mixture evenly over each rectangle; starting from a narrow end, roll up jelly roll-style. Cut each roll into eight equal slices and place on its side on a baking sheet to form a Christmas tree

Bake 25 to 30 minutes, or until sausage is no longer pink and crust is golden. Serve warm.

NORMA CHEESE BALL

8 OZ CREAM CHEESE SOFTENED

1/3 CUP SHREDDED CHEDDAR CHEESE

12 OZ FRENCH ONION DIP

1/2 CUP GREEN, RED, OR YELLOW FINELY DICED PEPPERS

3 OZ DRIED BEEF CHOPPED REAL FINE

2 TBP FINELY CHOPPED ONION

2 TSP GARLIC SALT

DASH WORSTERCHIRE

COMBINE ALL INGREDIENTS

SHAPE INTO BALL OR LOG

ROLL IN REAL FINELY CHOPPED PECANS

CHILL AND SERVE WITH CRACKERS OR VEGGIES

 

DATE PUDDING CAKE NORMA

1 CUP SUGAR

1 CUP FLOUR

2 TSP BAKING POWDER

1/2 CUP MILK

1 CUP CHOPPED DATES

1 CUP CHOICE OF CHOPPED NUTS

COMBINE AND MIX WELL AND PUT IN BAKING PAN

IN ANOTHER PAN COMBINE

2 CUPS PACKED BROWN SUGAR

2 1/2 CUPS BOILING WATER

3 TBP BUTTER (THE SIZE OF AN EGG)

MIX WELL UNTIL SUGAR IS DISSOLVED

POUR THIS OVER THE OTHER MIXTURE

MIX WELL

BAKE 350 FOR 40-45 MINUTES OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN

 

HARDEE BISCUITS

3 cups flour

6 ounces shortening

2 cups buttermilk

1/3 cup water

1 1/2 tsp salt

3 tsp sugar

1/2 tsp baking powder

mix the flour, salt, sugar, baking powder and shortening into fine crum

add buttermilk and water gradually until light and tender

turn out into a floured surface

you must knead well.

Cut out and placed on greased baking sheet.Bake your Hardees Biscuits on 425 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.

BACON CHEDDAR CORN MUFFIN BEV

6 BACON SLICES COOKED, DRAINED, AND CRUMBLED

2 CUPS SELF RISING CORN MEAL MIX

1 TBP SUGAR

1 1/2 CUPS BUTTERMILK

1 LARGE EGG

4 TBP MELTED BUTTER

1 CUP SHARP SHREDDED CHEDDAR CHEESE

PUT MUFFIN PAN IN OVEN 425 FOR 5 MINUTES

COMBINE CORN MEAL AND SUGAR AND MAKE WELL IN CENTER

COMBINE BUTTERMILK AND EGG AND PUT INTO THE WELL

STIR INGREDIENTS TOGETHER TILL JUST MOISTENED

STIR IN BUTTER, CHEESE, AND BACON AND MIX WELL

REMOVE PAN FROM OVEN AND SPRAY

SPOON BATTER INTO MUFFINS TINS ALMOST TO THE TOP

BAKE 425 FOR 15-20 MINUTES OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN

SCRAMBLED EGGS

8 LARGE EGGS

1 TBP WATER

1/2 TSP CREOLE SEASONING

MELT 1 TBP BUTTER INSKILLET

ADD INGREDIENTS, STIR AND SCRAMBLE
