To help expecting and new parents prepare for their new life with a baby, Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton is offering a Pregnancy Education Seminar on Saturday, November 22. The seminar is open to the general public, but is specifically designed for individuals or couples who are currently expecting, or have recently delivered. Seminar attendees will hear from pregnancy, delivery, and postnatal experts from Wright Memorial Hospital on topics including breastfeeding, birth control, childbirth, immunizations, labor epidurals, newborn care, and postpartum depression. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to tour the Maternity Unit at Wright Memorial Hospital. Jena Eads, R.N., of the Maternity Unit at Wright Memorial Hospital, will lead each of the seminar sessions. The program is designed and supported by Esgar Guarin, M.D., and Pamela Ralls, M.D., obstetricians at the hospital. The remaining date is Saturday Nov. 22.
