LURA'S CHICKEN ON SUNDAY
SPRINKLE 1 SMALL BOX OF MINUTE RICE IN THE BOTTOM OF A ROASTER
COMBINE 1 CAN CREAM OF CELERY, 1 CAN CREAM OF MUSHROOM, AND 1/2 CAN MILK, MIX WELL AND POUR OVER RICE
PLACE CHICKEN PIECES ON TOP OF SOUP
SALT LIGHTLY
SPRINKLE ON 1 PKG ONION SOUP DRY OVER CHICKEN
COVER TIGHTLY
BAKE 300 FOR 2 1/2 HOURS
CAN ADD VEGETABLES ON TOP
KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN
3 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon paprika
2 teaspoon garlic salt
2 teaspoons onion salt
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried rubbed sage
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried powdered rosemary
1/2 teaspoon dried powdered thyme
Combine all ingredients. I like to double coat my chicken for extra crispy flavor and texture.
