NWMO STATE FAIR GOAT SHOW RESULTS


THE GOAT SHOW AT THE NORTHWEST MISSOURI STATE FAIR TOOK PLACE ON FRIDAY. THIS YEAR THERE WERE A TOTAL OF 66 GOATS EXHIBITED AND EIGHT ENTRIES IN THE PEE WEE SHOW. THE CHAMPION DAIRY TYPE DOE AND RESERVE CHAMPION BOTH WENT TO MEGAN REASONER OF MT AYR FFA. THE CHAMPION MEAT TYPE DOE WAS ZACH TAYLOR OF SOUTH HARRISON FFA AND RESERVE CHAMPION WAS GRANT TAYLOR ALSO OF SOUTH HARRISON FFA. THE CHAMPION

A TRENTON RESIDENT FOLLOWING A TWO VEHICLE ACCIDENT ON THURSDAY AFTERNOON. THE HIGHWAY PATROL REPORTS THAT 74 YEAR OLD BEVERLY HARRISON OF TRENTON WAS STOPPED AND PREPARING TO MAKE A LEFT TURN OFF OF MO 6, 5 MILES WEST OF TRENTON, AND 37 YEAR OLD DAVID BAKER OF TRENTON WAS TRAVELING EASTBOUND ON MO 6. THE NORTHWEST MISSOURI STATE FAIR HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN, WITH THE 2014 BABY SHOW. THERE WERE 50 GIRL AND 33 BOYS FOR A TOTAL OF 83 PARTICIPANTS, COMPARED TO 106 PARTICIPANTS LAST YEAR. IN THE 0-3 MONTH AGE GROUP 3RD THROUGH FIST FOR GIRLS WENT KUNLEY THOMPSON OF BLYTHEDALE, RAUYN GRAHAM OF BETHANY, AND HAYLI JO YOUNG OF BETHANY.
