1 Killed, 2 Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash in Clinton County

A three vehicle crash in Clinton County killed a Higginsville man and left two others with injuries on Saturday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 56-year old Forest Younce of Higginsville was southbound in the northbound lanes of US 169, 2 miles south of Grayson around 3:15 Saturday afternoon. Younce’s vehicle struck a vehicle driven by 50-year old Rosalyn Jones of Plattsburg, causing it to roll of the roadway where it came to rest upright on its wheels.

Another impact occurred as Younce’s vehicle struck a vehicle operated by 39-year old Kearney resident Molly Ray, causing her vehicle to travel off the roadway.

Younce was pronounced dead at the scene. Jones was taken by Life Net to KU Medical Center with serious injuries. Ray sustained minor injuries and was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.
