12-Year-Old Boy Killed in ATV Accident Near Trenton

TRENTON, MO – A 12-year-old boy from Trenton was killed in an ATV accident Saturday afternoon in rural Grundy County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident took place around 4:45 pm 2 miles southwest of Trenton as the 12-year-old was operating the ATV when he failed to negotiate a curve. The ATV left the roadway and the boy was ejected. He was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
