3 Departments Respond To Rural Fire Call

The Bethany Fire Department and 2 other departments responded to a fire call at a rural residence south of Bethany on Monday.

Painters working on a structure being remodeled noticed a fire while working at the property located at 39961 West 210th Avenue. The fire was fully involved when the first department arrived at the single story structure. The cause of the fire was undetermined. There was a propane tank located near the fire that was threatened. It vented but did not ignite.

There were no injuries from the incident.

The Bethany, New Hampton, and Pattonsburg Fire Departments, the NTA Ambulance, and the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department responded to the incident.
