Clinton County COVID Count Continues Cresting

New numbers released Wednesday afternoon by the Clinton County Health Department show a continuing increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in the area.
According to the new information Clinton County currently has 679 confirmed cases, and 117 probable cases. Of those, 102 cases are active, and 655 have recovered.
The Clinton County Health Department says while they are not made aware of every hospitalization, their numbers show 66 hospitalizations.
There have been 39 deaths to date, ranging in age from 54 to 98. Of those deaths 34 were residents of long-term care facilities. The other five resided in single family residences.
On Halloween the County reported just 82 active cases and 25 deaths.
