4 Injured, 1 Seriously, In Accident Near Berlin

Four Eagle Grove, Iowa residents were injured, including one seriously, following a one-vehicle accident east of Berlin Monday morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a driver was heading westbound on Route Z, 2 miles east of Berlin, crossed the center line of the roadway, went off the side of the road, overturned, and returned to the roadway. The vehicle did end up on its wheels.
Forty-year-old Carlos Lopez of Eagle Grove was one of the passengers in the vehicle and was seriously injured. All injured were taken to Mosaic Albany
The accident took place at 9:30 Monday morning.
The Gentry County Sheriff’s Department, the King City Fire Department, and the Grand River EMS assisted the Highway Patrol.
