$50,000 Lottery Scratchers Ticket Sold In St. Joseph

A Missouri Lottery scratchers player in St. Joseph is $50,000 richer.

The Missouri Lottery says a player of the “Silver & Gold” scratchers game in St. Joseph won a $50,000 prize in the game. the winning ticket was sold at the Garfield 66 located at 1029 Garfield Avenue in St. Joseph.

“Silver & Gold” is a $10 scratchers game with more than $26.5 million in unclaimed prizes, including two top prizes of $1 million and three other second prizes of $50,000. Since the game began in March, players have claimed more than $7.6 million of the game’s prizes.

In the last fiscal year, players in Buchanan County claimed more than $26 million in prizes from Missouri Lottery games. The county’s retailers received more than $1.6 million in commissions and bonuses, and an additional $3.7 million in appropriated Lottery funds supported educational programs in the county.
