MO-Dot Asking For Input on Nodaway County Highway 136 Bridge Replacements

 

The Missouri Department of Transportation is set to host a virtual and phone-in public meeting to gather community feedback regarding the revised plans for the Nodaway County U.S. Route 136 Mozingo Creek and Long Branch bridge replacement projects.

The bridges, located east of Maryville, were last rehabilitated in 1940. This replacement project would bring both bridge structures and surrounding guardrails up to current standards. The projects are currently scheduled to be let for contractor bidding in November 2021.

Due to COVID-19 precautions, Mo-DOT has three avenues the public may ask questions or leave comments from Sunday, July 18, through Saturday, July 24. You can visit the projects’ virtual public meeting space, you can also Participate in one of three planned call-in sessions, or send your comments via mail to the Mo-Dot offices in St. Joseph.

All comments must be postmarked by July 24, 2021.
