7 Injured, 1 Seriously, in Cameron Accident
7 people were taken to the hospital, 1 with serious injuries, following a two vehicle accident on Highway 36 late Tuesday afternoon in Cameron.
The Highway Patrol reports the accident took place just before 5pm as 30 year old Harry Jenkins of Kansas City was driving eastbound on Highway 36 and struck a vehicle heading northbound on Ensign Trace. 19 year old Brianna Filley of Cameron was the driver of that car. Filley’s car was hit in its driver’s side. Both vehicles were totaled in the accident and stayed on their wheels.
All 7 people listed as injured were taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center. Harry Jenkins was seriously injured. 3 others in that vehicle, including 30 year old Adam Jenkins of Winston, 45 year old Steven Pankau of Pattonsburg, and 50 year old Shawn McBee of Corder, Missouri, received moderate injuries. Brianna Filley was also listed with moderate injuries from the other vehicle. 19 year old Kennedy Dickerson of Centralia, and 22 year old Avery Dickerson of Cameron both had minor injuries.
The Cameron Police Department assisted the Highway Patrol.
