Delayed Northwest Missouri Resurfacing Project Restarting Tomorrow

A resurfacing project will begin Thursday on six routes across Gentry, Harrison, Nodaway and Worth counties.

Herzog Contracting Corp., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, was originally set to start on Monday, March 6, but was delayed due to the weather.

Crews will begin on Harrison County Route EE from Route M to U.S. Route 136 in New Hampton and will wrap that phase on April 6.

Each route will be closed daily in segments up to two miles in length during the scheduled work.

Travelers will need to seek an alternative route during the intermittent closures.

Crews anticipate completing all six routes by the beginning of June.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
