Absentee Voting Begins Today in Missouri
Today is the first day for absentee voting for Missouri’s April 4 general municipal elections. Absentee voting allows voters to cast ballots if they will be absent from the jurisdiction on election day; have an incapacity or confinement due to illness or physical disability; has a religious belief or practice or are employed as an election authority that makes an individual unavailable on election day, or is incarcerated or participates in a confidentiality program.
To vote absentee by mail, voters must submit a form to the appropriate county election official. Requests must be signed and received no later than 5 pm on March 22nd.
Mailed ballots must be voted, notarized, returned by mail, and received in the appropriate office no later than 7 pm on Election day.
