Access Restricted to LCSO Administrative Area due to Covid-19 Precautions

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office has announced that starting today (Wednesday 11/4/20) access to the administrative area of their building is going to be restricted until further notice due to COVID-19 precautions.

Anyone wishing to report a crime should do so by calling the dispatch number at 660-646-2121 and a member of the Sheriff’s Office will be assigned to your case. Other business with the office will be scheduled on a case by case basis with open air location meetings being used as much as possible and masks required for everyone involved in all interactions.

Those wanting to get concealed carry license will be out of luck for the next 30 days, unless your permit is nearing the six month mark of being expired. Those who are coming up on the six month expiration can contact Captain Sindy Thomas at 660-646-0515 to make special arrangements.

For other non-emergency needs call the Sheriff’s Office at 660-646-0515 and someone will be assigned to speak with you or call you back at the first opportunity. For all emergency needs you should still call 911.
