Accused Murder Pleads Not Guilty to Stealing Charge

Garland Joseph Nelson, the man accused of the high-profile murder of the Deimel Brothers from Wisconsin was in court Tuesday.

He waived formal arraignment and plead not guilty to felony charges of stealing a motor vehicle. He is accused of convincing another man he was jailed with to move a tractor-trailer that did not belong to Nelson.

Nelson also asked for a change of venue and of the judge. Defendant asked for a continuance on November 9, 2021, for plea and trial setting.
