ADA Sidewalk Projects Coming to Ludlow, Chula, and Wheeling

A sidewalk improvement project will begin Monday, March 11, in Ludlow.

The project to help ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, funded in part through the Transportation Alternatives Program, will improve sidewalks in Chula, Ludlow, and Wheeling.

Crews plan to begin on the south end of Route D in Ludlow, working north on the west side of the road.

Once complete, crews will begin on Route DD at Route D, working west on the north side of the road.

MoDOT says work in Ludlow should wrap up by early April.

Crews will work on Route B in Wheeling from April 1 to May 10.

The last phase comes to Route K in Chula from April 29 to May 3.

Some lane closures will be necessary throughout the project.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution and follow all traffic control, flaggers, signs, and barricades.

All vehicles and personal property will need to be moved from the work area before the start of construction.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
