Additional Felony Charges Filed Against Braymer Teacher/Coach
KINGSTON, MO – Additional charges have been filed against a Braymer Teacher and coach in the Caldwell County courts. Last Friday, 29-year old Zachary Douglas was placed on administrative leave from his teaching and coaching positions within the Braymer School District when he was charged with sexual misconduct and furnishing pornographic material to a minor.
On Wednesday, authorities filed ten additional felony charges on Douglas. Four sexual abuse charges range from August 1, 2021 to October 29, 2021. Douglas is also charged with two counts of statutory sodomy alleged to have taken place on October 21st and 29th. Four additional counts of sexual contact with a student range from August 1st through October 29th. Two more misdemeanor charges of furnishing pornographic material to a minor and sexual misconduct are now also pending.
Douglas was a high school PE teacher at Braymer. He remains in the custody of the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Department facing a maximum of 80 years in prison. Bond has been denied.
