Additional Information Released Regarding Daviess County Plane Crash
(Daviess County) Additional information has been released regarding the plane crash in northern Daviess County yesterday. The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office says a crop duster type airplane crashed into a bean field located near the intersection of State Highway B and State Highway K at approximately 11:50 a.m. The pilot was killed in the crash which is being investigated by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, Missouri State Highway Patrol, and the National Transportation Safety Board.
The National Transportation Safety Board says the aircraft was a 2017 AT-802 Fixed Wing Single-Engine aircraft. The FAA shows registration of the aircraft to Rice Flying, LLC of Poplar Bluff.
