Albany Resident Injured In DeKalb County Accident

An Albany resident was injured following an accident Wednesday morning north of Maysville.

The Highway Patrol reports 41 year old Justin Peery was driving northbound on Route A, at NE Glenwood Road, 2 miles north of Maysville, and lost control of his vehicle on a snow covered bridge. The vehicle initially hit the guardrail, went off the side of the roadway, and struck the bridge. The vehicle eventually overturned and landed on its side.

The vehicle was totaled in the accident. The driver received moderate injuries and was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St Joseph.

The accident took place at 6:30 Wednesday morning.
