Albany Sex Offender Arrested for Residing Too Close to Public Pool

An Albany sex offender was arrested on Thursday for being too close to a public park and swimming pool.

According to a probable cause affidavit issued by the Gentry County Sheriff’s Office, 41-year-old Justin Wink stands accused of residing in a house too close to the City pool, and with the soccer field attached to his backyard.

The felony complaint filed against Wink says he pled guilty to statutory rape in Gentry County in 2007.

Wink was taken to the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail on a $5,000 bond.
