Amazonia Teen Injured in Andrew County Crash Wednesday

An Amazonia teen suffered injuries in an Andrew County crash Wednesday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 4:49 Wednesday afternoon on State Route T, nearly two miles north of Amazonia, as a 16-year-old male teen drove eastbound.

Troopers say the teen lost control, went off the south side of the road, returned to the road, again went off the south side of State Route T, overturned, and came to a rest.

The teen suffered minor injuries and sought treatment at Mosaic.

Authorities say the teen did wear a seat belt at the time of the crash.
