Ameren Holding Open Houses Week For Northern Missouri Grid Transportation Program
Ameren Transmission is holding several open houses this week to get input from local stakeholders for the Northern Missouri Grid Transformation Program.
The venture will include Ameren Transmission Company of Illinois, the Missouri Joint Municipal Electric Utility Commission, and Ameren Missouri. The program will replace aging infrastructure and will add 53 miles of new transmission line. It will include a new substation and upgrades to existing substations.
The first open house will be held from 11am until 1pm and 5pm until 7pm Tuesday at the Grant City Golf Clubhouse. Wednesday, an open house will be held from 11am until 1pm and from 5 until 7pm at the University of Missouri Discover Center in Albany. A third open house will be held from 11am until 1pm and 5 until 7pm on Thursday, April 11th at the DeKalb County Youth Building in Maysville.
During each open house, the Northern Missouri Grid Transformation Program team will include project overview information and an opportunity to provide input on the route segments. All open houses will include the same information with no formal presentation. There will also be a self-paced, virtual engagement and comment map available online between now and April 26th.
All projects within the Program are scheduled to be in service by mid-2028.
