Annual Meteor Shower is Back in a Missouri Sky Near You

An annual meteor shower is back and is putting on a lively show in a Missouri sky near you. The Geminids meteor shower is expected to peak Monday night into Tuesday. Brian Bethel, the Elephant Rocks State Park Administrator in southeast Missouri’s Iron County, says the meteor shower is unique.

The best place to view the shooting stars is away from city lights. Elephant Rocks State Park is hosting a meteor shower viewing event Saturday night.
