Area Resident Injured in Pettis County Crash Thursday

An Excelsior Springs woman was injured in a Pettis County crash Thursday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on U.S. 65, at Rebar Road, when a vehicle driven by 64-year-old Excelsior Springs woman Billie J. Parman was heading southbound.
Troopers say Parman failed to stop for a traffic signal and struck a vehicle driven by 70-year-old Warsaw resident Cynthia R. Waller.
Waller’s vehicle would strike another third car before ultimately coming to a rest.
Troopers say Parman suffered minor injuries.
Waller suffered serious injuries.
Troopers say both were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.
