Arkansas Man Injured in Nodaway County Tractor Accident Involving Cows, Trees, and Fences

An Arkansas man suffered injuries in an accident early this morning in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 2:30 this morning on U.S. 71 at 330th Street, about six miles south of Maryville, as a tractor driven by 44-year-old Strawberry, Arkansas resident Stayton L. Massey headed northbound.
Troopers say Massey struck five cows in the roadway, went off the east side of U.S. 71, struck two fence rows, struck two trees, struck another fence row, struck two more trees, struck an embankment, and came back onto the roadway.
Massey suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment.
