Arraignment Scheduled for Trenton Man Accused of Wounding Officer

An arraignment is scheduled for the Trenton man that is accused of wounding a police officer.

The arraignment is set for October 16, 2019, in Division One of the Daviess County Circuit Court for 39-year-old Jamey Aaron Griffin, who shot Trenton Police Officer Jasmine Diab back in June. Officer Diab survived the wound to her abdomen.

Griffin waived his right to a preliminary hearing and faces the felony charges of assault, first degree or attempt, serious physical injury or special victim; unlawful use of a weapon, shoot at or from a motor vehicle at a person, motor vehicle, or building, death or injury, and armed criminal action.
