Missouri’s system of early and no-excuse absentee voting is working, according to Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft.
He told Missourinet the key ingredient that makes it work is the state’s photo I-D requirement:
But there’s another lawsuit seeking to toss out Missouri’s latest photo ID requirement for voting.
Arguments were heard back in November and a ruling is still pending.
