Attorney General Schmitt Releases Statement Calling Out Schools for Imposing Mask Mandates
(Missourinet) Lawsuits are planned against Missouri school districts that continue to enforce mask mandates.
The Attorney General is calling the mask mandates and quarantine orders illegal in light of a recent Cole County ruling stating that school districts have never been given the authority by the legislature to enact public health orders like mask mandates. Schmitt says his office is finalizing lawsuits against non-compliant districts who are forcing mask mandates instead of “leaving the decision up to parents and families.”
We are finalizing lawsuits for school districts that continue to enforce mask mandates and quarantine orders illegally and will get them on file later this week. #NoMoreMandateshttps://t.co/SKnDlMzepM
