Bates County Man Picked Up On Outstanding Warrant Following Traffic Stop in Clinton County

Following a traffic stop Monday afternoon, a Bates county man was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant.
At 4:21 P.M. Monday 20-year-old Lamar resident Nicholas S. Gabriel was arrested and taken into custody on a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant out of Bates County, and also cited for a moving traffic violation.
Gabriel was taken to Clinton County Jail, and awaits bond.
