Belton Man Arrested on Drug & Driving Charges in Clinton County

A Belton man was arrested on drug and driving charges Tuesday afternoon in Clinton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 31-year-old Michael J. Nixon was arrested on preliminary charges of failure to display valid license plates and possession of marijuana.
Nixon also had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear out of Lafayette County.
He was taken to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office to await bond.
