Bethany 17-Year-Old Seriously Injured In Thursday Accident

A Bethany 17-year-old male was seriously injured following an accident near Bethany Thursday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the driver was operating a pickup northbound on Jade Road, 1/2 mile northeast of Bethany, and failed to negotiate a curve. The pickup went off the side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned. The vehicle landed on its top.
The driver was initially taken to Harrison County Community Hospital. The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department, and the NTA ambulance assisted the Highway Patrol.
The accident took place just before 3:30 Thursday afternoon.
