Bethany Driver Arrested After Accident

BETHANY, MO – A Bethany resident was injured in an accident Thursday morning south of Bethany.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 36-year old Christopher Meringa was northbound on Highway 13, 8 miles south of Bethany when he travelled off the roadway, went down an embankment and into a creek. The vehicle came to rest on the drivers side.
Meringa was taken to Harrison County Community Hospital with moderate injuries. Officers also cited him for driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving.
