Bethany Man Injured in UTV Crash Wednesday Night

A Bethany man was injured in a UTV accident Wednesday night in Livingston County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on private property, a mile and a half southeast of Avalon, when a Polaris four-wheel driven by 25-year-old Dakota S. Richardson was heading eastbound.

Troopers say Richardson overturned and ultimately came to a rest facing east.

Richardson suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment.

Authorities say Richardson was not wearing proper safety equipment at the time of the crash.
