Bethany Woman Seriously Injured After Falling From Vehicle

BETHANY, MO – A Bethany woman sustained serious injuries after being struck by her own vehicle.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 79-year old Edith Hovey was on Findley Road in Bethany around 1:30 pm on Wednesday when she fell from her vehicle, which then rolled backwards, striking her and a mailbox before coming to rest off the roadway.

Hovey was transported by LifeNet to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph with serious injuries.
