Bond Bridge Repairs Monday Until November 11

Those that commute to Kansas City will possibly be seeing lane closures on a busy Interstate bridge that could affect your commute home.

The Missouri Department of Transportation says maintenance crews will be making expansion joint repairs along the northbound lanes of Interstate 29/I-35 on the Bond Bridge over the Missouri River beginning at about 7 A.M. on Monday, October 24. These repairs will require various lane closures for several days at a time.

The first lane closure will be the left most lane of northbound I-29/I-35 between Front Street and Levee Road, starting on Monday. This lane closure will be in place for two to three days and then crews will move to the next lane until all northbound lanes are repaired.

Motorists should expect various lane closures and delays in the area until Friday, November 11th.

All work is weather permitting.
