Braymer Resident Killed in One-Vehicle Crash Near Lathrop

CALDWELL COUNTY, MO – A Braymer woman was killed and another seriously injured in a one-vehicle accident near Lathrop on Wednesday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident took place around 2:30 pm 5 miles east of Lathrop on Missouri Route 116 as 78-year-old Dennis Huffman traveled partially off the roadway and then overcorrected. The vehicle began to skid and went off the roadway into a ditch, rotating 180 degrees before coming to a rest.
Eighty-four-year-old Marilyn Huffman died in the crash. The driver was taken to Liberty Hospital by Tri-County EMS.
