Braymer Teacher Arrested on Sexual Misconduct Charges

KINGSTON, MO – A Braymer teacher has been placed on administrative leave after Caldwell County authorities filed charges against him on Friday.

Twenty-nine year old Zachary Douglas is charged with sexual misconduct involving a child under the age of 15; first degree sexual misconduct and four count of furnishing pornographic material to a minor.

The probable cause statement filed with the court alleges Douglas, who was the high school PE teacher and also had coaching duties at Braymer, sent nude photos and videos via Snapchat to girls between 14 and 17 years old.

Douglas remains in the custody of the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Department. Bond has been denied.
