Braymer Woman Injured in Deer-Involved Crash Saturday

A Braymer woman suffered injuries in a Caldwell County crash Saturday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 4:44 Saturday morning on Highway 116, two miles northeast of Polo, as 54-year-old Carrie T. Harper drove westbound.

Troopers say Harper struck a deer and traveled off the south side of the road, striking a ditch and embankment.

Harper suffered minor injuries and sought treatment at Liberty Hospital.

Authorities say Harper did wear a seat belt at the time of the crash.
