Brett Hurst Appointed as Associate Circuit Court Judge for Atchison County

ROCK PORT, MO – Brett Hurst of Fairfax has been appointed as Associate Circuit Court Judge for Atchison County by Governor Mike Parson. Judge Hurst replaces the Honorable Corey Herron who was appointed as Circuit Court Judge for the 5th Judicial Circuit upon the retirement of Roger Prokes.
Prior to his appointment to the bench, Hurst served as Atchison County Prosecuting Attorney. He earned a B.S. in agriculture business management from the University of Missouri and his law degree from Western Michigan University.
