Bridge Repair Work Hits I-229 Starting Today

A portion of Interstate 229 is down to one lane starting today due to bridge repairs.

The Missouri Department of Transportation says crews have narrowed southbound I-229 to one lane near mile marker 6.8 in Saint Joseph.

Crews will close one lane to repair bridge joints on the Poulin Street overpass throughout the week.

MO-DOT says the lane closures could be in place overnight through Friday, December 13.

All work is weather permitting and is subject to change.
