Brooklyn Man Injured in Buchanan County Crash This Morning

A Brooklyn, New York man suffered injuries in a Buchanan County crash this morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 6:45 this morning on I-29, a mile south of Faucett, as 28-year-old Saint Joseph resident D.B. Carroll drove southbound.

Troopers say a vehicle driven by 58-year-old Brooklyn resident Koba Barabadze was on the shoulder of I-29, returned to the road, and the two vehicles collided.

Both vehicles came to a rest on their wheels.

Barabadze suffered moderate injuries and sought treatment at Mosaic in Saint Joseph.

Authorities listed no injuries for Carroll.

Troopers say both men wore seat belts at the time of the crash.
