Buchanan County Route Y Culvert Reopens

The south Buchanan County Route Y Bee Creek culvert is now open.
Phillips Hardy, Inc., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, reopened the roadway between Missouri Route 116 and the Buchanan/Platte County line on Tuesday morning.
The box culvert replaced a bridge at that location.
Crews opened the north bridge between Old Frame Road and Route 116 in December 2023.
Crews will still be on site to complete the remaining shoulder work as the weather allows.
All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
