Cainsville Woman Suffers Serious Injuries in Thursday Evening Accident

A Cainsville woman suffered serious injuries in a one-vehicle accident Thursday evening in Mercer County.
According to the accident report from Troop H of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 28-year-old Cainsville resident Megan L. Mouzakis was driving a 2005 Pontiac G6 eastbound on Mercer County Route N about four miles east of Cainsville when she unsuccessfully attempted to avoid an animal in the roadway.
Mouzakis was not wearing a seat belt and suffered serious injuries in the collision. She was taken by Mercer County EMS to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton for treatment of her injuries.
