NEWS RELEASE SEPTEMBER 2021

On 09/01/2021 at approximately 0102 hours Caldwell County Deputies conducted a traffic stop for a traffic
violation near the intersection of 116 and Yankee Ridge in Caldwell County. As a result of the stop, Deputies
arrested a 27 year old female from Richmond for Possession of Methamphetamine and providing false information
to a Law enforcement Officer. In addition to the new charges, she was placed under arrest for an outstanding warrant
out of Daviess County Missouri for the charge of Unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. She was transported to
the Caldwell County Detention Center.

On 09/01/2021 at approximately 0318 hours, Deputies were dispatched to 5721 SE Oliver Drive Cowgill, Mo 64637
Caldwell County on a report of domestic in progress.
Upon arrival, both parties were contacted and the disturbance was determined to be verbal between the two parties.
Officers cleared the location with warnings and no arrests were made.

On 9-1-2021, at approximately 1153 hours, I, Deputies responded to 4739 Rock Island Rd Cowgill, Mo, Caldwell
County, in reference to someone firing a weapon into a home.
Upon arrival it was determined no one was injured but a bullet had apparently been shot by an unknown person and
had traveled through a window of the house. The bullet fragment was located inside of the house and was collected
as evidence. This case is still under investigation.

On 9-2-2021, at approximately 0921 hours, Deputies responded to 49 E. Main St Kingston, Mo, Caldwell County,
(Caldwell County Courthouse), in reference to a warrant arrest.
Upon arrival, Jacob Whitt was arrested according to a warrant for his arrest from St. Joseph, Mo; this was a
misdemeanor warrant for original charge of Driving While Revoked/Suspended. Mr. Whitt was taken into custody
and transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center where he was held in lieu of the allowed $250.00 cash
bond.

On 09-03-2021 at approximately 1339 hours, Deputies were dispatched to 7566 SW Prairie Ridge Rd Polo, Mo
64671 in reference to property damage.
It was determined by deputies someone had intentionally placed nails in the driveway.
This incident is still under investigation and suspects are being sought for questioning.

On 09-03-2021 at approximately 16:48 hours Deputies arrested Michael Milligan for an outstanding warrant for his
arrest while in Kingston Missouri.
Mr. Milligan had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for failure to obey judge’s order from Caldwell County with
the bond set at $5000.00 cash only.
Milligan was transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center.

On 09/05/2021 at approximately 0211 hours, Deputies were patrolling Highway 116 near Frances Street in Polo, Mo
when they observed a black 2005 Lincoln MK2 parked in the yard of 405 Frances Street Polo, Mo Caldwell County.
It appeared the vehicle had possibly wrecked at this location. The deputies further observed a person slumped over
in the driver’s seat.
Deputies contacted the driver and found he could not answer questions as to how his vehicle came to rest in the
yard. The driver was asked to step out of the vehicle while officers conducted a search for weapons. During the
search, Deputies found this person to be in possession of methamphetamine. In the vehicle a further search revealed
a syringe and a loaded 9mm handgun.
The driver was placed under arrest for Possession of methamphetamine, Possession of drug paraphernalia and
Unlawful use of a weapon. He was transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center

On 9-6-2021, at approximately 0922 hours Deputies responded to 5014 SE. Highway 116 Cowgill, Mo, in reference
to the theft of an ATV.
The ATV reported stolen was a 2021 Honda Foreman. On 09/08/2021, the owner of the ATV called the Sheriff’s
Office and reported his ATV was located and parked on his property in undamaged condition but had an additional
250 miles on the odometer. This case is under investigation.

On 9-6-2021, at approximately 0956 hours, Deputies responded to 310 Harris St, Braymer, Mo in reference to a
reported theft of decorative bricks from the front yard of a residence. The blocks stolen were valued at
approximately twenty dollars. This incident is under investigation.

On 9-7-2021, at approximately 0707 hours, Deputies responded to 885 E. 3rd St Kidder, Mo, in reference to a stolen
vehicle.
The reported stolen vehicle was a red in color 2009 Ford Edge. It was found the owner had left the keys in the
vehicle before it was stolen.
Following taking the report, deputies located the vehicle parked and abandoned at an unoccupied business in Kidder.
Investigation continues in this incident.

On 9-7-2021, at approximately 1300 hours Deputies responded to 783 W. Oak St Breckenridge, Mo, in reference to
a report of stealing
It was reported approximately 110 gallons of fuel was stolen from three different vehicles. In addition, a battery was
taken from a tractor. The vehicles were owned by the City of Breckenridge. Suspects are being sought for
questioning in this incident.

On 09/09/2021 at approximately 0646 hours, Deputies responded to 54 N Franklin St, Kingston, MO (Caldwell
County Sheriff’s Department) in reference to an arrest warrant.
Upon arriving at the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Department, Deputies contacted and arrested Glenn James Moore
according to an arrest warrant for DWI, Operate Vehicle On Highway Without A Valid License -1st Offense, and
Fail To Display Plates on Mt Veh/Trl. Mr. Moore was taken into custody and transported to the Caldwell County
Detention Center where he was held in lieu of bond.

On 09/09/2021 at approximately 1427 hours, Deputies responded to 110 N. 1st St Breckenridge, MO, Caldwell
County, 64625 to the report of property damage to a residence.
Upon arrival the homeowner reported someone had shot some windows in her house by using what was believed to
be a pellet gun.
Deputies questioned suspects in the area and this investigation is ongoing.

On 09/10/2021 at approximately 1439 hours, Deputies received a walk in report regarding the theft of a trailer hitch;
the hitch was taken from a 2020 Toyota Tundra pickup. This incident is under investigation.

On 09/12/2021 at approximately 6:52 PM, Deputies were dispatched to a careless and imprudent driver headed east
on highway 116 from highway 69 driving a white in color Chevy Impala. A traveling citizen, willing to sign a
written complaint, contacted the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Department reporting a careless and imprudent driver
operating a white passenger vehicle, was driving into oncoming traffic.
Deputies responded to the area and located and stopped the reported suspect vehicle.
As a result of the traffic stop, a 65 year old Kingston Missouri man was arrested for Careless driving, possession of
heroin and drug paraphernalia. In addition a search warrant was obtained to collect a sample of blood from the
driver and charges for driving under the influence are pending the results of the blood sample.
The driver was transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center.

On 09/13/2021 at approximately 1743 hours, Deputies were dispatched to 1479 Mayapple drive Polo, Mo, Caldwell
County to a reported Burglary;
Upon Deputies arrival, it was reported a shed on the property had been broken into. A list of the items taken was
documented and this incident is under investigation.

On 09/14/2021 at approximately 2140 hours, Deputies conducted a traffic stop near southbound Highway 13 and
Elm Street in Polo, Mo.
The vehicle stopped was a 2010 Chevy 1500. Following the stop, it was discovered the vehicle was a stolen vehicle
from Independence Missouri. The 37 year old female driver was arrested for possession of stolen property and taken
to the Caldwell County Detention Center. The vehicle was impounded to be returned to the owner.

On 09/15/2021, at approximately 1240 hours, Deputies arrested William Dean Gardner according to a warrant for
his arrest for Littering and Driving while revoked. Gardner was transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center
where he was held in lieu of bond.

On 09/15/2021 at approximately 1735 hours, Deputies received a complaint from a Braymer resident regarding a
person stalking and harassing her. An investigation began and concluded on 09/24/2021. As a result of the
investigation, a 71 year old Altamont man was placed under arrest and incarcerated in the Caldwell County
Detention Center pending filing of formal charges.

On 09/15/2021 at approximately 1947 hours, Deputies received a call in reference to a Domestic at 105 N Second
Street, Breckenridge Caldwell County, MO.
When Deputies arrived it was discovered the two persons involved had separated and one had left the scene. Further
investigation showed no one wished to press charges. This investigation was closed.

On 09/16/2021 at approximately 9:35 AM, Deputies arrested Gina J. Davidson, at the Caldwell County Courthouse
regarding a probation violation. Judge Jason Kanoy had issued a warrant for her actions for Failure to obey Judge’s
orders. Davidson was taken into custody and transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center.

On 09/16/2021 at approximately 1051 hours Deputies assisted in the recovery of a stolen trailer belonging to Boy
Scouts Troop 360 located in Kearney. The trailer was located at an address on 6830 Platinum LN. The vehicle was
recovered and returned to the owner’s possession. This incident is under investigation.

On 09/17/2021 at approximately 2:21 PM, Deputies conducted an investigation at the Caldwell County Detention
Center regarding an inmate that had assaulted one of the Correctional Officers, As a result of the investigation, a
Caldwell County female detainee received additional charges beyond her original charges for Endangering a
Correctional employee and Assault on a Law enforcement officer.

On 09/17/2021 at approximately 2144 hours, Deputies conducted a traffic stop near Elm Street and St. Paul in Polo
Mo.
As a result of the traffic stop, a search of the vehicle revealed the driver was in possession of approximately 111.5
grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
The items found in the vehicle were collected as evidence and the driver was released at this time.
A probable cause statement was prepared and sent to the Caldwell County Prosecuting Attorney requesting charges
and a warrant be issued for Possession of a controlled substance, Possession of Drug paraphernalia and Failure to
signal when turning.

On 09/18/2021 at approximately 0046 hours, Deputies conducted a traffic stop near Highway 116 and Holstein
Road, Polo Mo.
As a result of the traffic stop, the driver, Identified as Jared T Outersky was arrested according to a warrant for his
arrest issued by the State of Missouri Probation and Parole Division. Outersky was arrested and transported to the
Caldwell County Detention Center where he was held without bond.

On 09/18/2021, at approximately 2039 hours, deputies responded to the area of 118 Maple in Polo Mo regarding a
reported suicidal person.
Upon deputies’ arrival, witness statements were taken and it was discovered a male suspect had fired a handgun and
told his girlfriend he had shot himself. Information was received the girlfriend had examined the suspect and he had
only told her he had shot himself but had not. The suspect had fled the scene in his vehicle prior to Law enforcement
arriving at the scene. A search of the area was conducted and the suspect was unable to be found. The suspect phone
was pinged and it was discovered he had left the Caldwell County area and was unable to be located by Law
enforcement.

On 09/19/2021, at approximately 15:26hrs, the male suspect from the previous day returned and was harassing
neighbors; Deputies returned to the scene and placed him under arrest for Unlawful use of a weapon. He was
arrested without incident and transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center.
The vehicle he was driving at the time of his arrest was later towed and a search warrant was obtained to search his
vehicle. Items located in the vehicle at the time of the search warrant were methamphetamine, MDMA, heroin,
mushrooms and hydrocodone pills. Charges are being sought against the suspect for possession of these items.

On 09-19-2021 at approximately 0523 hours, Deputies were dispatched to the area of J Hwy and Thiel Dr. Caldwell
County, Kidder Mo, 64649 in reference to a Domestic disturbance.
Deputies arrived and spoke to the female at the residence; the male had left the scene prior to arrival. Following
taking information from the female, the male was located and taken into custody on the charge of domestic assault;
he was transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center.

On 09/22/2021 at approximately 1351 hours, Deputies responded to the car wash at the corner of Bob Cat and Third
St. in Braymer, Caldwell County, MO, 64624 in reference to a Domestic Disturbance.
Deputies contacted a female at this location who had left the residence. Information was collected from her
regarding the incident. Deputies then went to the address where the incident was reported to have occurred and
spoke to the male party involved. A report was taken and forwarded to the Caldwell County prosecuting attorney
requesting charges be sought against the male.

On 09/23/2021 at approximately 1953 hours, deputies were patrolling northbound Highway 13 near East Walnut
Street in Hamilton, Caldwell County, Mo, A vehicle with one headlamp was stopped and the driver was identified.
The driver allowed a search of his vehicle to be conducted which allowed Deputies to locate a loaded 9mm handgun
inside of his vehicle. A check of the driver found he was a convicted felon for past crimes. The driver was taken into
custody for Unlawful possession of a weapon and incarcerated at the Caldwell County Detention Center.

On 09/24/2021 at approximately 0003 hours, Deputies were patrolling southbound State Route A near Highway 36
and observed a vehicle parked in the Community Parking area south of Breckenridge Mo.
Deputies contacted the occupants of the vehicle and found both to be in possession of Methamphetamine. As a result
of this investigation, the male and female were taken into custody and transported to the Caldwell County Detention
Center on charges for possession of a controlled substance.

On 09/28/2021 at approximately 2100 hours, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Highway
116 and Holstein road in the Polo area. Following the traffic stop, assistance was requested from the Clinton County
Sheriff’s Office K-9. Upon arrival of the K-9, the dog indicated the possible presence of narcotics in the vehicle, a
search was conducted and Deputies located methamphetamine and a large amount of cash. The female driver was
arrested on charges of Possession of a controlled substance, failure to drive on right half of roadway, and pending
charges for driving under the influence. She was transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center.

On 9-29-2021, at approximately 0651 hours, Deputies responded to 281 Maple St Kidder, Mo, Caldwell County, in
reference to a dog at large.
Deputies found a pit-bull dog had attacked another dog and had caused possible injuries to the animal.
As a result of this investigation, charges are being sought for animal neglect for the owner of the dog. The dog was
removed from the kidder area by the owner.

On 09/29/2021 at approximately 9:58 AM, Deputies received a report of a Domestic assault to have occurred in
Braymer Mo on 4th Street.
As a result of this investigation, charges are being sought for the male involved in the assault for Domestic violence.

On 9-30-2021, at approximately 0605 hours, Deputies responded to the area of Highway 13 south of Hamilton to a
possible careless and imprudent driver. Deputies were able to located and identify the vehicle. The vehicle was
stopped and the driver was arrested for driving under the influence as well as an outstanding warrant for his arrest
out of the Kansas City Area. The driver was taken into custody and placed in the Caldwell County Detention Center.

On 9-30-2021, at approximately 1100 hours, Deputies responded to the commuter parking lot located at the
intersection of State Highway A and State Highway 36.
A report was made regarding the theft of a Chevrolet Silverado pickup from the parking lot on this date between the
hours of 07:30am and 11:00am. The vehicle description was sent out to area law enforcement to attempt to locate
the suspect and vehicle. It was also discovered at the scene of the stolen truck, another vehicle was located and
determined to be stolen the previous night from the Chillicothe area. It was believed the suspect had stolen the car
from Chillicothe, drove it to the commuter parking lot and then stole the truck.
During the early evening hours, the stolen truck was located in Chillicothe which led to Livingston County Law
enforcement officers capturing the suspect and recovering the vehicle. Charges will be filed in Caldwell County for
the theft of the vehicle as well as additional charges filed in Livingston County from the incident.
