Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office December 2021 Activity report
On 12/01/2021, at approximately 9:52 AM, Deputies responded to the 600 block of N. Wooden Street, Braymer, in reference to a Domestic assault. Upon arrival, it was discovered two family members had
engaged in a physical altercation. One of the family members were taken into custody and transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center for charges of Domestic assault.
On 12/01/2021, the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office arrested a female who surrendered herself to the Sheriff’s Office according to a warrant for her arrest for a Probation Violation. On this date at approximately 10:25 am, Brandi N. McFall arrived at the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office and surrendered herself on a warrant for her arrest for a Probation violation. The warrant was issued by Judge Jason Kanoy on 12/01/2021 for the original charge of Distribution of a controlled substance; the bond amount was set at $20,000.00 cash only. Ms. McFall was arrested without incident and was transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center where she was placed into the custody of Detention Staff.
On 12/03/2021, at approximately 1959 hours, Deputies responded to Hillcrest Manor located at 801 S. Colby St in Hamilton, Caldwell County, MO 64644 for a warrant arrest. Upon arriving at the above address, Deputies made contact with a male subject identified as Brandon Wyatt. Mr. Wyatt had a warrant for his arrest issued by Judge Jason Kanoy for operate vehicle on highway without a valid license-1st offense. Wyatt was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center.
On 12/04/2021, at approximately 0819 hours, Deputies responded to the 300 block of W. 1st Street Braymer, to a report of theft of utilities. As a result of the investigation, two suspects were identified and charges were recommended to the Caldwell County Prosecuting attorney’s office for Theft of utilities, property damage and felony stealing. Warrants were later issued for the suspects’ arrest.
On 12/04/2021, at approximately 2323 hours, Deputies recovered a stolen vehicle parked in the 200 block of 4th street in Breckenridge, Mo. The vehicle was unattended at the time of recovery. The vehicle had been stolen on 10/14/2021 in the Kidder area. The vehicle was returned to the owner and a suspect is being sought for questioning.
On 12-06-2021, Deputies received a report of a Violation of a child order of protection in the Braymer area. As a result of the investigation, the suspect was contacted and received a citation to appear in court on charges of violation of order issued by the Judge.
On 12/06/2021, at approximately 2002 hours, Deputies responded to the 500 block of Kinman in Polo to a reported disturbance. As a result of the investigation, a Child abuse hot line report was made by the Deputy to the Division of Social Services for further family services and support in this matter.
On 12/06/2021, at approximately 2119 hours, Deputies conducted a traffic enforcement stop of a vehicle near Zack Wheat road and Highway 13. As a result of the traffic stop, the driver was arrested for
driving while revoked and possession of approximately 70 grams of marijuana.
On 12/09/2021 at approximately 2256 hours, Deputies responded to the 300 block of Walnut Street in Cowgill, in reference to a check the well being of a person. Deputies then contacted a second person at the residence and found she had an active warrant from Clinton County for a probation violation. She was taken into custody and transported to the Caldwell/ Clinton County boundary line where she was placed into the custody of the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office.
On 12/10/2021, at approximately 1953 hours, Deputies conducted a traffic enforcement stop on Highway 36 and State Route K. As a result of the traffic stop, the driver was arrested for driving while suspended/ revoked, the passenger was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia and a later charge was added for possession of a controlled substance in a jail facility. In addition the passenger had an outstanding warrant from the State of Indiana for possession of methamphetamine.
On 12/11/2021, at approximately 1935 hours, Deputies conducted a traffic enforcement stop near South Hughes and West Berry Street. As a result of the stop, the driver was arrested for driving under the influence and failure to drive on right half of roadway.
On 12/14/2021, at approximately 1232 hours, Deputies arrested a female at the Caldwell County Courthouse according to a warrant issued for her arrest following her sentencing to the Department of Corrections. The female was taken into custody and transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center.
On 12-16-2021, at approximately 0928 hours, Deputies responded to the 200 Block of South 2nd Street in Breckenridge to a reported burglary at a residence. A report was taken and a suspect has been identified as being in the area of the property prior to the house being entered. Investigation continues at this time.
On 12/16/2021, at approximately 1413 hours, Deputies responded to the Caldwell County Courthouse in reference to serving an arrest warrant on a person. As Deputies arrived, a male suspect was taken into custody according to a warrant issued by Judge Jason Kanoy for Non Support in arrears in excess of 12 months. Bond was set at $750.00. The male was transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center.
On 12/18/2021, at approximately 1413 hours, Deputies responded to the 600 block of Stone street in Polo Mo in reference to a reported assault said to of occurred at a local bar. Deputies began an investigation into the allegation and this incident is under investigation. No arrests have been made at this time.
On 12-20-2021, at approximately 1511 hours, Deputies received a report from a resident in the 500 block of Kinman street in Polo Mo of stolen license plates from a vehicle. A suspect was identified as the person taking the plates from the vehicle. At this time the information is being sent to the Prosecuting attorney of Caldwell County for consideration of charges.
On 12/22/2021, at approximately 1153 hours, Deputies arrested a male suspect at the Caldwell County Sheriff’s office who arrived and surrendered himself to authorities according to a warrant for his arrest. The warrant was issued by Caldwell County Judge Jason Kanoy for the charge of Domestic assault which carried a $5000.00 cash bond. The male was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of bond.
On 12/22/2021, at approximately 1352 hours, Deputies arrested a male at the Caldwell County Sheriff’s office according to a warrant for his arrest from the City of Lathrop Mo. The male arrived and surrendered himself. The warrant was a failure to appear warrant from the municipal court in Lathrop and it carried a bond amount of $150.00. The male was transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center.
On 12/25/2021, at approximately 2316 hours, Deputies conducted a traffic enforcement stop on Highway 36 near State Route B in Caldwell County. As a result of the traffic stop, the driver was arrested for Driving under the influence and Failure to drive on right half of the roadway. He was incarcerated in the Caldwell County Detention Center.
On 12-26-2021, at 0936 hours, Deputies received a report of stealing from a property in the 500 Block of Brush Creek Road. Numerous items were stolen and this incident is currently under investigation.
On 12/28/2021, at approximately 1456 hours, Deputies received a report of a house being broken into in the 2500 Block of Tobin Valley Road. Numerous items were taken and an investigation has begun to identify the suspects.
On 12-29-2021, at 1325 hours, Deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of East 3rd Street in Kidder, in regards to stolen property. A report was taken and investigation was conducted. It was later determined the owner had misplaced the stolen item and the case was closed.
On 12-30-2021, at approximately 1950 hours, Deputies responded to the 600 block of E. Berry St Hamilton, Mo, in reference to a Domestic Assault. A report was taken from all parties involved and no charges were pursued at this time.
On 12/30/2021, at approximately 0822 hours, MODOT called stating there is a vehicle on Highway 116 near Royals Rd in Polo Missouri that has been sitting for a long period of time. Deputies responded to the location and towed the vehicle from the scene.
