Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office February 2022 Activity Report

On 02/01/2022, at approximately 0128 hours, Deputies conducted a traffic enforcement stop on Davis
Street and School Street in Hamilton Mo. As a result of the stop, the driver was arrested for Possession of
Methamphetamine, Possession of drug paraphernalia, and Failure to register a motor vehicle with the
Department of Revenue. The driver was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center where he was
held pending filing of formal charges.

On 02/01/2022, at approximately 0727 hours, Deputies responded to the 300 Block of West Elm Street in
Polo, Mo to a report of a stolen vehicle. The owner reported their white in color 2006 Ford F-250 truck
had been stolen from where it had been parked the previous night. A report was taken and an
investigation began to locate the vehicle. The vehicle information was entered into the State of Missouri
computer system as stolen and has yet to be located.

On 2/01/2022, at approximately 1637 hours, Deputies responded to the Caldwell County/Livingston
County line in reference to a Caldwell County warrant subject who was arrested by the Chillicothe Police
Department.
Caldwell County Deputies received custody of the male and transported him to the Caldwell County
Detention Center where he was held in lieu of the $1000.00 cash bond.

On 02/01/2022, at approximately 1800 hours, Deputies responded to the Braymer High School in
reference to a male spectator at a Basketball game who was intoxicated. During a basketball event at the
school, a male subject had arrived at the game and was visibly intoxicated and was creating a disturbance
bothering the players and the spectators at the game. An off duty Caldwell County Deputy was at the
school and summoned the other deputies to the location to arrest the male suspect. He was taken into
custody without incident and transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center.

On 02/02/2022, at approximately 0755 hours, Deputies observed a male suspect at the Polo Casey’s store
who had an outstanding warrant for his arrest from Caldwell County for the charge of DWI. The suspect
was contacted by Deputies and placed under arrest. He was unable to post the allowed $500.00 cash bond
and was transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center.

On 02/02/2022, at approximately 0948 hours, Deputies received a report of a Violation of an order of
protection regarding a resident of the Kidder area. Upon completion of the investigation, charges are

being sought for the arrest of the suspect for the violation they committed by sending a message to the
victim over face book.

On 02/02/2022, at approximately 1230 hours, deputies responded to the 600 Block of Stone Street in Polo
for a reported Domestic Disturbance. Upon arrival, the situation was deemed to be a verbal argument, the
persons at the scene were all checked for wants and warrants through Caldwell County Dispatch and one
of the males present had an active warrant for their arrest. They were taken into custody and transported
to the Caldwell County Detention Center

On 2/2/2022, at approximately 1310 hours, Deputies arrested a female at the Caldwell County Courthouse
according to a warrant issued for her arrest for a probation violation. The bond was set at $10,000.00 cash
only. She was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center to be held in lieu of bond.

On 02/05/2022, at approximately 0200 hours, Deputies contacted a vehicle parked at the commuter
parking lot south of Highway 36 on State Route A. The vehicle was occupied by a male sitting in the
vehicle. Upon speaking with the male, a search of the vehicle was conducted and located during the
search was a small amount of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The driver was placed under
arrest and transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center pending filing of formal charges.

On 02/06/2022, at approximately 0036 hours, Deputies conducted a traffic enforcement stop of a vehicle
near West Berry and Willis Street in Hamilton. As a result of the stop, a search of the vehicle was
conducted and Deputies located Methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and marijuana. The driver was
arrested for possessing these items as well as for the traffic violation. He was taken into custody and
transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center

On 02/07/2022, at approximately 0954 hours, Deputies responded to the 8000 Block of LaVista to a
possible drug overdose. Upon arrival, Deputies located the person who had overdosed and upon the
arrival of the Caldwell County EMS, the person was transported to the Hospital for treatment. Deputies
located in the residence items believed to be methamphetamine and paraphernalia. The items were
collected as evidence. The male suspect who had overdosed was released from the hospital later in the
day. Upon his release from the hospital, the subject was taken into custody, where he was transported to
the Caldwell County Detention Center for possession of Methamphetamine.

On 02/07/2022, at approximately 1814 hours, Deputies responded to the 9000 Block of Sunset in the
Hamilton area to a reported theft of a vehicle from a residence. Following a brief investigation, it was
discovered the vehicle was repossessed. The owner was notified of the location of the vehicle.

On 02/08/2022, at approximately 1505 hours, Deputies arrested a female at the Caldwell County
Detention Center who had surrendered herself according to a warrant for her arrest issued by Caldwell
County. The bond amount was set at $500.00. She was taken into custody and walked into the Caldwell
County Detention Center where she was held in lieu of bond.

On 02/08/2022, at approximately 1922 hours, Deputies responded to the 200 Block of 4th Street in
Cowgill, Mo to serve an arrest warrant on an individual. Upon Deputies arrival, they contacted the
suspect and took him into custody without incident according to a warrant from Caldwell County for Non
Support. The bond amount was $25,000.00. The suspect was transported to the Caldwell County
Detention Center where he was held in lieu of bond.

On 02/09/2022, at approximately 9:03 AM, Deputies received a report of a stolen license plate at the 100
Block of Elm Street in Polo mo. There are no suspects at this time and the license plate has been entered
into the State of Missouri Law enforcement computer system.

On 02-09-2022, at approximately 0901 hours, Deputies served an arrest warrant in the 500 Block of North
Woods in Braymer to a male suspect who had a warrant for their arrest from Daviess County for charges
of Rape, Statutory Rape, Child Molestation, Enticement of a Child and sexual Misconduct. The suspect
was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center to await
transport back to Daviess County.

On 02/11/2022, at approximately 0150 hours, Deputies conducted a traffic enforcement stop of a vehicle
near Highway 36 and Highway 13. As a result of the stop, the driver was found to have an active warrant
for their arrest for failure to wear a seat belt. The driver was taken into custody and transported to the
Caldwell County Detention Center where he posted the allowed bond amount of $10.00.

On 02/11/2022, at approximately 1928 hours, Deputies responded to a vehicle fire in the 9000 block of
State Route HH. The vehicle fire was extinguished by the Cameron Fire Department and no injuries were
reported.

On 02/14/2022, at approximately 2301 hours, Deputies conducted a traffic enforcement stop near Old 36
and Highway 36. As a result of the traffic stop, the driver was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and
failure to drive on the right half of the roadway.

On 02/16/2022, at approximately 1256 hours, Deputies responded to the Hideaway Lakes area where a
male suspect was arrested on a warrant from Pikes County for the charges of Possession of
Methamphetamine, Possession of drug paraphernalia, and Obstructing identification. He was taken into
custody and transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center where he was held in lieu of bond.

On 02/17/2022, at approximately 1824 hours, Deputies arrested a male at the commuter parking lot on
State Route A and Highway 36 in reference to a warrant for his arrest from Caldwell County for the
original charge of Possession of Marijuana, Probation Violation, with a $50,000 cash bond. He was taken
into custody and transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center.

On 02-20-2022, at approximately 1106 hours, Deputies received a report of a stolen vehicle from the
location of the 7000 block of Henry O Road in Nettleton, Mo. The vehicle was later recovered in St.
Joseph Mo and was returned to the owner. This incident is under investigation.

On 02/21/2022, at approximately 1332 hours, Deputies received a report of the theft of motor vehicle
parts from a vehicle at the location of the 8000 block of SE Catawba in Braymer Mo. Suspects are being
sought for questioning.

On 02/22/2022, the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Department received an informational report from the
Monett Missouri Police Department in reference to a possible child molestation which took place in
Braymer, Caldwell County, MO 64624.

On 02/25/2022, at approximately 2027 hours, Deputies assisted the Missouri Department of Social
Services in taking protective custody of some children in the Cowgill Mo area. The children were safely
removed and placed into the care of the Department of Social Services without incident.

On 02/28/2022, The Caldwell County Sheriff’s Department began an investigation regarding a Sexual
Misconduct incident in the Breckenridge, Mo area. As a result of the investigation, a suspect was
identified and placed under arrest for the alleged crimes.

On 02/28/2022, at approximately 2033 hours, Deputies conducted a traffic enforcement stop on Highway
36 and Catawba Road , as a result of the traffic stop, the driver was issued a citation for possession of
marijuana and was released pending an appearance in court at a later date.
