Cameron City Council Member Resigns

The City of Cameron is on the lookout for a new member of the city Council after a member turned in their resignation Monday night.

Counci member Julie Ausmus resigned her position with the council effective Monday, October 23.

The City of Cameron says they will begin a search for a replacement to appoint to the council seat until the next regular municipal election.

In a release announcing the resignation the City thanked Ausmus for her years of service on the Council and wish her well in the future.
